The Taco clutch is a stylish and simple to make clutch style purse, with only one pattern piece and a zip. Unzipped it packs completely flat for travel, storage or posting so it is a perfect design for gifts or for selling in your online store or market stall.

Computer drafted, print and cut pdf. pattern. (no scaling required)

SIZING:
The finished Taco clutch is approx. 24cm wide, 10cm high at the highest point, and 7cm thick at the thickest point.

SUITABLE FABRICS:
Suggested fabrics include; 3mm thick felt, firm leather, or any other fabric that does not fray (that is, the cut edges do not need finishing) and is heavy weight and firm. Softer more supple fabrics will not hold their shape when the clutch is zipped.

DIFFICULTY: advanced beginner - if you can sew a zip or want to give it a try

FABRIC:
A 25cm by 35cm piece of suitable fabric (see above for suitable fabrics)

NOTIONS:
One 50cm long piece of no.5 continuous zip (5mm across the teeth) and 2 zip sliders
Co-ordinating thread as needed

When you finish your purchase you will recieve an email with a link to download your PDF Pattern. You can print out your pattern on regular letter or A4 paper and tape it together, or send the file off to the printers to get it printed in A0 format (so you don't have to tape it together).

The pattern comes with beginner friendly written instructions with illustrations for each step.
