The Zero Waste Cap Sleeve Tee is a simple t-shirt with cap sleeves in children's sizes 2 to 14.  Perfect under our Zero Waste Pinafore or paired with the Zero Waste Pencil Skirt.

• Super easy to sew with step-by-step instructions with pictures.
• The whole thing is made from a simple rectangle of fabric with no leftovers.
• Super cute finished product with  a modern straight cut and slim fit.
• Instructions also included to help you with fit.

Sizes: The pattern starts at a size 2 and goes up to a size 14 (kids sizing).

File types: A4/Letter size PDF with layers (for home printers), A0 size PDF (for printshops), and a projector file too.

Difficulty: Basic Skills

All the patterns in the Zero Waste Collection are cut from a single rectangular piece (or pieces if there is a lining) of fabric with no waste. This leaves you with only usable rectangular remnants the size of which depends the size of the pattern and the width of the original fabric.

We know that this type of pattern cutting is not a 'fix all' for waste in the sewing world, but it is our step in the right direction and we really hope you enjoy the patterns as much as we do.

Fabrics

This pattern is designed for knit fabrics with 4 way stretch (the fabric stretches along both the weft and warp of the fabric) of at least 50% in each direction. These include (but are not limited to) light to medium weight jersey or interlock fabrics with lycra or spandex content. Fabrics such as cotton/lycra, bamboo lycra, double brushed poly, rayon lycra etc.

• Co-ordinating thread as needed
• 1cm (3/8") fusible hem tape or knit stay tape (optional)
• Knit binding tape for neckline binding (optional)
